Brought from the soil, shaped by the earth

Über dieses Modpack

...is a polished survival multiplayer modpack, with advanced progression, civilization and infrastructure building, and warfare!
In the world of Cognata, there are no villages. At least not yet. You won't stumble upon the usual villages that dot the landscapes that you might expect.
Instead, you have to make your own. Take clay, sculpt it, summon villagers from the earth, and create your kingdom.
Join friends in a common world and compete for land and resources. Claim territories, siege enemies, and build infrastructure to grow your empire!
Defeat legendary monsters for legendary rewards, craft unique and powerful weapons, arm your soldiers and grow your strength!
The world is yours. Take it.

This modpack is recommended to play in multiplayer, but is also fun in singleplayer.
For information on multiplayer scroll down to the "Help" section of this page
This modpack has over 500 custom recipes, many fully custom mods made for it, over 100 new custom-made weapons as well as unique weapons called Artifacts, custom texture packs, armor models, classes, quests, and more!
Cognata is designed in such a way where you can pretty much progress to any point anywhere just by using the materials around you. This style of progression is great for multiplayer dynamics especially for anarchy and factions servers (Originally Cognata was played on a factions server).

Help
Multiplayer! The modpack includes e4mc so you can play multiplayer super easily. Just open a world to LAN and you will be given a public domain alongside the local port. You can invite other players just by giving them the domain to connect to.
If you want to host the modpack on a server, I don't have a server pack for you, but I do have a list of mods to remove from the server and you should be able to play:

When playing Cognata, it's important to know that all of the recipes in the modpack can be found in the recipe book. Because of the difference from vanilla progression, certain parts of the modpack could be unintuitive for some.
If you want a tutorial on the progression of the modpack, just follow the quests included in versions 1.3.0 and later. The majority of them don't include rewards for completion (although a few later ones do), but they do provide a pretty detailed walthrough of the modpack.

Content
Progress through many stages of materials, from primitive wooden tools bound with pitch glue to the precisely crafted gem age all the way to the fantasy-like metals of skysteel and shadowsteel alloys. Mods such as Create, Farmer's Delight, More Ores More Gems, and even Twigs have been integrated into progression and carefully attuned to complement each other in a natural way.
Cognata also integrates mods such as Immersive Aircraft and Combat Roll into its progression while keeping both methods of transport balanced with each other and other vanilla methods of transport.
(You can use certain potions and enchantments to upgrade your rolling abilities!)
As well as material progression, Cognata also introduces an alternate path with similar power having to do with creating your own civilization and cities! In Cognata, the player can almost literally raise a village from the soil. You can create villagers from clay and specialize them into recruits, farmers, bowmen, shieldmen, miners, and much more. Later updates have expanded on this concept more and more and polished it, improving on villager workstations by giving them new models and with pack update 1.3.0 adding new siege events to defend your village from.
On top of these changes in progression, both world generation and entity behavior have changed! You can now find many new biomes across the world. Mobs are now smarter and are more formidable enemies. You might also notice that certain mob types have unique relationships with other mobs, giving the world a more natural feel.
Healing has been made somewhat more difficult in favor of allowing the player to heal faster when nearby campfires or when sleeping.

More
Note on why all of the versions are called "remaster": The original Cognata modpack is not able to be posted here because it contains CF-exclusive mods. After Akaash's development on it stopped, I (voxelparrot) continued the project on my own as Cognata Remaster, which is what you can find here.
this modpack uses the aseprite font (which is the best pixel font)
**The collection containing all of my public projects that were made for this modpack can be found here.
The original Cognata was co-created by voxelparrot and AkaashMinecraft

Cognata Remaster Server laggt – Performance-Tipps
