1300+ Downloads?!

🥂 A Huge Thank You!

I honestly never expected this modpack to reach 1,300+ downloads.

What started as a project I built because I wanted a specific Minecraft experience has become something that over a thousand of you have decided to spend your time playing. That's wild to me.

Thank you to everyone who's downloaded the pack, shared it with friends, reported bugs, left kind comments, or simply took a chance on something I created. Every bit of support has meant more than you know.

📦 Current Status

I'm happy to say the pack has reached a point where I consider it stable. Because of that, there aren't any major updates planned for a while. Rather than constantly changing things, I want people to enjoy the experience as it's meant to be played.

That said, if a major bug slips through, I'll still do my best to address it.

📢 Help the Community Grow

If this pack has given you a memorable adventure, consider sharing it with a friend or recommending it to someone looking for a new modpack. Word of mouth has been the biggest reason this project has grown, and every recommendation genuinely helps. If you'd like a cool screenshot featured on the page, send to me via discord!

Once again, thank you for all the support. I can't wait to see what everyone continues to create and discover.

Happy mining 💜

The old world still exists...and it's ruins remain.

But nature, disease, forgotten rituals, and things that should have stayed buried have reclaimed what humanity left behind.

HexCraft is a hardcore survival experience where every expedition demands preparation, every wound has consequences, and every mile traveled carries the possibility of discovering something that should have remained forgotten.

City

🌒 Survival Is the Core System

Gameplay stays close to vanilla at the start—movement, tools, and exploration feel familiar—but survival systems are expanded. Players must manage:

  • Thirst
  • Temperature
  • Sanity
  • Limb damage and injury

📖 Progression

Your story begins with nothing.

Survive the wilderness. Manage thirst, temperature, sanity, hunger, bleeding, and catastrophic injury while scavenging the remains of a forgotten civilization. Loot tech, cyberware, modern gear, and lore books detailing what happened to the world.

Establish a safe settlement. Earn the trust of villages, explore dangerous ruins, and uncover fragments of lost knowledge.

Master engineering and ritual craft. Augment your body using tech from the old world. Build machines, automate production, and construct the vehicles needed to cross vast distances.

Venture into reclaimed dimensions. Gather the twelve Forgotten Eyes and uncover the path to the End.

Face horrors buried beneath the world, embrace curses and transformations, and decide what parts of your humanity are worth preserving.

The farther you travel, the stranger the world becomes.

🗺️ The World Pushes Back

Villages and settlements are persistent systems, not loot hubs. Stealing affects NPC behavior over time. Many containers are locked and require lockpicking. Reputation and aggression have consequences.

Village

🦴 Injury Is Survival

Death is not your only enemy.

Severe wounds can cripple or sever individual limbs, permanently changing how you survive. A shattered leg may leave you crawling to safety. The loss of an arm can prevent the use of shields, tools, or even crafting until it has been repaired.

Bandages, splints, surgery, and medicine become essential, not optional. Golden apples can magically restore flesh.

Sometimes surviving the encounter is only the beginning.

⚙️ Engineering the Impossible

The old world is gone.

What remains are fragments of forgotten science, broken machinery, and a mysterious ore known as physics ore — a substance capable of infusing structures with motion, lift, force, and momentum.

There are no vanilla boats. No convenient vehicles. No easy way across oceans, mountains, or the endless wilderness. Movement must be engineered.

Build steam-powered ships capable of crossing entire seas. Construct massive airships suspended beneath balloons. Create mobile bases, mechanical elevators, railways, factories, and automated production networks. With Create, Clockwork, Valkyrien Skies, and dozens of supporting systems, the world becomes an engineer's playground where entire cities can move, factories can think, and transportation becomes a challenge to overcome rather than a convenience granted.

The farther you wish to go, the more ambitious your creations must become.

🌌 Reclaimed Dimensions

The Nether and End are no longer transitional spaces.

Each dimension has been reworked into a fully realized environment with its own progression, threats, and pacing.

The End is no longer a boss rush
Access requires 12 unique Forgotten Eyes
Progression is gated and intentional

🪄 Ritual Magic, Alchemy & Transformation

Magic is not a progression of increasingly powerful spells. It is ritualistic, deliberate, and often irreversible. Every choice shapes the kind of practitioner you become, rewarding preparation, knowledge, and sacrifice over raw magical power.

Walk the path of the witch, mastering herbalism, alchemy, curses, broom flight, enchanted candles, and intricate rituals or embrace forbidden alchemy, corruptive blood rituals, and grotesque experimentation. Twist animals and villagers into monstrous servants, cultivate horrific creations, and pursue power that exacts a terrible price.

Whether you become a wandering hedge witch, an occult practitioner bound by ancient contracts, or a master of eldritch corruption, magic is never free and every path leaves its mark.

Dark Alchemy

🩸 Blood and Curses

Not all magic is controlled.
Some paths lead to transformation—states that blur the line between ability and affliction.

Vampires and werewolves roam the land...join their ranks, and your new abilities are paired with restrictions, dependencies, and vulnerabilities.

🍎 An Apple A Day...

The world did not fall to war, dragons, or demons...

It fell to infection.

The Virus consumed the old world, leaving only ruins and the undead that wander them. Those infected do not truly die, their minds remain trapped inside bodies they no longer control.

Medicine can slow bleeding, mend shattered bones, and restore ruined limbs, but some injuries demand far more.

Golden Apples are among the rarest medicines remaining. They can purge infection, restore catastrophic injuries, and revive recently fallen companions when fed to their corpse (if anything's left of it).

Enchanted Golden Apples possess even greater restorative power, capable of returning flesh and blood to those reduced to skeletal existence.

In a dying world, an apple may be worth more than a kingdom.

☠️ Death Is Not the End

Death is only another path.

When you die, your soul leaves your body and becomes a wandering spirit. If you can manage to find and possess one of the inert skeletal corpses littering the world, you can continue your journey in a skeletal form with all of its advantages and drawbacks...or ascend high into the sky to be reincarnated far elsewhere in the world.

However, be advised that death leaves scars. Die in the Nether and your soul becomes corrupted. Die in The End and you will be permanently warped — a fate not even an Enchanted Golden Apple can reverse.

Ghost
Dead Bodies

💀 Horror That Creeps, Not Jumps

Not every threat rushes toward you.

Some creatures stalk from the darkness. Some emerge only under specific conditions. Others wait patiently for a careless mistake.

The world is not merely dangerous.

It is haunted.

Ghoul

🦠 Sculk Is No Longer Contained

The Deep Dark is no longer a buried ruin - it is alive.

Sculk spreads beyond the ancient cities, reclaiming caves, structures, and entire underground ecosystems. Disturb infected regions long enough, and the world itself begins to react: wildlife becomes corrupted, darkness grows unsafe, and strange events begin occurring far from where the infection first started.

Find a way to protect yourself from the curse, or the sculk curse will bind itself to your soul, and follow you into every reincarnation.

What was once sealed beneath the world is beginning to return...

HexCraft Server laggt – Performance-Tipps
