Minecraft New Generations

Minecraft New Generations (MNG), abbreviated as MNG, is a Vanilla+ Adventure and RPG mod pack designed for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge. Its primary goal is to evoke the nostalgia of old Minecraft, capturing the essence of classic gameplay. To achieve this, MNG incorporates beloved legacy mods such as the Aether Mod and the Twilight Forest, alongside exciting new additions like Tetra, Alex Mobs, and Alex Caves.

Originally conceived as a personal mod pack for me and my friend, the project took an unexpected turn. In order to host the mod pack on the free server service I use, it became necessary to publish it on CurseForge or Modrinth. As part of this transition, I also enhanced the user experience by adding a cool interface.

Q: Why doesn’t it have quests?

A: To be as close as possible to the old Minecraft feeling of discovery, I decided to let you discover the content yourself. If you are having trouble advancing in the game, try to read the achievements. It can help to understand what to do.

Q: Will MNG have any Port/Backport to other versions?

A: Definitely not a Backport, but maybe some port to future versions.

Q: Will MNG have a big update?

A: Probably not, but there might be some mod additions, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements here and there.
