Aero Islands [for Create Aeronautics]

This mod replaces the default Minecraft world generation with gorgeous floating islands over the void!

Features

Along with the world generation, this mod contains a few key features that I think make the experience more fun and balanced:

Mod Features

Aeroscapes World Generation

The floating islands, with all vanilla biomes and structures (except oceans and the structures that spawn there).

Three new biomes: Void Shores, Voidsea, and Deep Voidsea. These dangerous, barren biomes replace the world's oceans, and Trial Chambers and Strongholds generate there.

Ancient Cities can be found in the new Hallowed Isles biome, which replaces the Deep Dark.

Rebalanced ore distribution to work perfectly with the worldgen & emphasize exploration, with ore spawn rates depending heavily on biome. Check the wiki for more info!

Aerolite

A special stone type that generates everywhere and can be mined for aerolite twigs.

Aerolite Twigs

You can mine these floating items from aerolite veins and eat them for a brief burst of levitation. Keep some on you for emergencies!

Gilded Aerolite

In hot biomes, some aerolite will spawn with golden flecks and drop gold aerolite twigs.

Aerolite Charm

Crafted with quartz, an ender pearl, and aerolite twigs, this special tool lets you teleport straight upward through solid blocks.

Selenite

A gemstone block that spawns in Calcite Craters in cold, barren biomes. 

Can be crafted into tiles or processed into Selenite Shards.

Selenite Lamp

A lantern crafted with a Selenite Shard and Iron Nuggets which dampens monster spawns in a 4-chunk radius as long as it's charged with Selenite Shards.

Quickslate

A decorative block, crafted with aerolite twigs, which helps you run faster and jump higher.

Can be polished and chiseled into stairs, walls, and slabs.

Music Discs

Two new original music discs, yaw and view, composed by Elephants.

Requirements

Requires Lithostitched.

Requires Sinytra Connector on NeoForge for versions 1.0.9 and earlier. Versions 1.1.0 and later are native NeoForge mods and do not require Connector :)

FAQ

❓Does this mod support Terralith, Nature's Spirit, BYG, or other biome mods?

Generally, yes! Though they should work out of the box, they will not have the special features I developed for this pack. To add them, check out the internal datapack's "preset" biome tags. If you add a custom data pack which adds the new biomes to those tags, they should get the right features automatically. If that sounds like a lot of effort, try the official modpack!

❓Can I use this in my modpack?

❓Other mods' structures are spawning in the void when I use this pack :(

You can work around this using Lithostitched and a custom data pack. Check out this part of the internal data pack for an example.
