Assorted Tools

Starting with 12.0.0 every mod in Assorted Tools can be downloaded on its own or all together here in the bundle. The pages for the separate mods are still being reviewed, so some of their links may not work yet.

Fourteen mods full of new tools, weapons and armor. Hammers, machetes and multitools for getting work done, wands that build whole rooms, staffs that freeze mobs, spears and boomerangs to throw, suits for diving and swimming through lava, and plenty more.

What's included

Each of these is also its own mod, if you only want some of them.

• Assorted Gear Sets adds tools, armor and spears in tin, steel, ruby and the other materials other mods add.
• Assorted Hammers adds hammers that break blocks in one hit but drop nothing.
• Assorted Multitools adds one tool that works as a pickaxe, shovel, axe, hoe and sword.
• Assorted Machetes adds machetes that cut through leaves, vines and undergrowth.
• Assorted Shears adds shears in every material and the Coral Cutter enchantment.
• Assorted Portable Workbench adds a crafting table you can carry around and open from your hand.
• Assorted Throwing Spears adds spears you can throw in every material, with four enchantments of their own.
• Assorted Boomerangs adds wood and diamond boomerangs that come back to you.
• Assorted Buckets adds buckets in every material that hold more than one bucket of water, lava or milk.
• Assorted Suits adds the chicken, scuba and lava suits.
• Assorted Wands adds wands that build, break and mine whole areas at once.
• Assorted Staffs adds the Neptune, Phoenix and power staffs that freeze mobs, thaw them and move blocks.
• Assorted Ultimate Fist hides eight fragments around the world that make the ultimate fist.
• Assorted Pokeball adds the pokeball, which catches a mob so you can let it out somewhere else.

You can turn any of them off in config/assortedtools-parts.toml (.json on Fabric).

Updating from 11.x

Worlds from 11.x keep all your items, recipes and enchantments. Tool material settings moved to the assortedlib-tool-tiers config file, which the other Assorted mods share, so anything you changed there needs setting again. The switch mode key now comes from Assorted Lib and sits under Assorted Mods in Controls, so if you rebound it, bind it again.
