Über diese Mod
This pack is meant to be a fun addon to Archipelago Additions so my friends and I can mess around with them and I wanted to share them with more people, hence why I am here. This pack adds new companions from the HTTYD franchise and a some custom ones of myself and my friends. There are also many new dragon variants to expand upon the already vast variety in Archipelago Additions. My pack also adds new nether themed dragons that are currently a work in progress but soon will fill the nether with more life themed around HTTYD
NEW DRAGONS ADDED:
Saltflat Screecher: Offshoots of the fury family, these illusive creatures live within salt flats that they use for food and protection. Their scales are usually bright, making them easy to spot, however they have a club tail made of salt that they can use to attack intruders. Once AA adds salt to the game they will drop it, making an easy way to obtain it through brushing but that is not implemented yet
Netherwing: Stories have been told of this dragon, an old subspecies of Night Furies made when ancient people took their dragons to the nether and never returned. They often settle in basalt deltas and crimson forests
Burning Nightmare: Stories have been told of this dragon, an old subspecies of the Monstrous Nightmare made when ancient people took their dragons to the nether and never returned. They tend to make nests deep within warped forests
Hell Wing: Stories have been told of this dragon, an old subspecies of the Skrill made when ancient people took their dragons to the nether and never returned. They tend to make nests out of soul sand
Stringer: Stories have been told of this dragon, an old subspecies of Stingers made when ancient people took their dragons to the nether and never returned. They still stay near Piglin camps, often being used as mounts for them rather than the strider who tend to be slower on land and on lava
Screaming Nadder Variants: Stories have been told of this dragon, an old subspecies of the Deadly Nadder made when ancient people took their dragons to the nether and never returned. They often settle in warped and crimson forests
CREDITS/DISCLAIMER
Dragon Wars Variants is a project made by me, Firedust. Most dragon models use IoB models as a base due to hardcoded rigging dependencies making it impractical to scratch model. I do not claim to have made these models, they were created by the IoB team and now belong to NBD. I am permitted use of these IoB base assets provided we remain as an addon to IoB and/or NBD and do not claim to have made them. These credits may change as necessary. They will always be correct to the most recent release of this mod. I am also not affiliated with the official How to Train Your Dragon franchise or Dreamworks animation.
