🏹 Features

The Fable-Mod adds new gear and equipment, to spice up survival & PvP in general.
The attack cooldown of swords is removed to replicate the 1.8 combat of Minecraft, while still implementing custom shields and crossbow functionalities.
It adds new ores, armors and swords each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Most swords can be upgraded with status-effects, such as wither, poison and weakness for example.
New Effect-Arows can be crafted, that can be used by the new Titan-Bow to inflict harmful status-effects on your enemies.

🗡 Swords & Spears

Citrin:

Weapons made of citrin will poison your enimies when hit!

Nether:

Nether weapons ignite your opponents, similar to Fire Aspect.

Titan:

Titan weapons deal the most damage out of the new weapons, are unbreakable but don't have a status effect on them by default.

Nightmare:

Choose a pact, and your weapon will grant you a beneficial status effect when hitting a player!

All of the above can be upgraded with additional status effects, using essences.

🤍 Armor

Citrin:

Citrin armor protects you almost from every harmful status effect, with each piece increasing the magic protection.

Nether:

Nether armor protects you from all forms of fire damage, also with each piece increasing the fire protection.
Nether armor can also be used in an orkus altar, to get the new and powerful orkus enchantments, since it is, like netherite, a material form the nether.

Titan:

Titan armor is unbreakable and grants you 5 extra hearts, when having a full set equipped.

Nightmare:

Nightmare armor can only be obtained, by defeating a Warden. It reduces your max health to a total of 5 hearts, when having a full set. By doing that, you will get the nightmare effect, which gives you more resistance to all kinds of damage and turns up your base attack damage based on the max healh you have (the less total hearts, the more damage you will deal).

With the Mounts of Mayhem Update you can now also protect your horses with newly added horse-armor!

💞 Armor Trim Effects

When triming your armor with the newly added materials, you can inherit the base effect of the trim material to your armor!

✨ Other

There are new powerful enchantments, which can be obtained by performing rituals at the Orkus Altar. But be careful! If you don't spend enough xp, your equipment may get cursed with one of the new curses.
Duplicate your ores by crafting and using the diamond furnace!

There are also some QoL Items like backpacks and a parachute.

You can craft Copper Berries, which when eaten applies Speed and Haste to you.
Get a Scroll of Ascension to teleport you out of a cave to the surface of the overworld.

📔 Background

This mod is inspired by the german YT-Project "Minecraft TITAN" and is a faithful remake (at least the forge version), implementing new content and porting it to Forge 1.16.5 & Fabric 1.19.4+.
