Homesteads is for the villagers who don’t like the village life and would prefer to forge their own path in the quiet, but sometimes challenging and unforgiving wilds of the overworld. This mod adds five new Villagers, the Beekeeper, The Lumberjack, The Trapper, The Prospector and The Forager. As well as a variety of new structures for them to inhabit and a block for each of them to work at.

New Villagers

New Villagers

Say hello to the new villagers or homesteaders rather that you will find inhabiting structures in the overworld:

  • The Lumberjack (Found in the Forest, Swamp and Taiga)
  • The Trapper (Found in the Forest, Swamp and Taiga)
  • The Beekeeper (Found in the Forest, Meadow and Taiga)
  • The Prospector (Found in the Badlands and Caves)
  • The Forager (Found in the Swamp and Meadow)

Each of them has a new profession and trades that help them survive in the wild.

New Trades

Each of the Homesteaders have their own specialised trades. The Lumberjack will trade saplings and wood related items. The Trapper will trade Leather, meat and animal related items. The Beekeeper trades anything related to bees and honey. The Prospector is obsessed with mining and ores and the Forager likes flowers.
