Noob Warrior
Noob Warrior is a lightweight RPG-style ability mod for Minecraft 1.21.5 (26.1.2) that adds a mana system and unlockable combat/support abilities. It requires Fabric Loader >=0.19.3 and Fabric API.
Why Install It?
Vanilla combat is straightforward — left-click to attack, right-click (with a shield) to block. Noob Warrior adds skill-based mechanics that give you more options in combat and exploration without overhauling the entire game. Abilities are earned through gameplay, consume a resource (mana), and require timing and awareness to use effectively. It's designed to feel like a natural extension of vanilla.
Mana System
Every player starts with a mana pool of 5. Key mechanics:
- Passive regen: 1 mana per minute
- Food: Eating any food gives 0.5–1.5 mana (based on nutrition)
- Sleep: Waking from bed refills mana to maximum
- Max mana: Permanently expandable by consuming Mana Ore (+5) or Purified Mana (+20)
Abilities
Abilities are permanent unlocks. To obtain one, enchant a book at an enchanting table (the ability enchantments appear randomly). Right-click the enchanted book to consume it and learn the ability.
Cycle between your unlocked abilities with Ctrl + Scroll Wheel and activate with R (customizable in key bindings).
