*Orpheus mod is born from the frequent use of 'KeepInventory' , and the desire to earn it rather than just using commands. So, I turned to the story of Orpheus, who ventured into the underworld and returned. This, in a nutshell, is the goal: to obtain the Orpheus Lyre. Carrying this lyre in your inventory grants the KeepInventory effect (If you prefer not to have the KeepInventory effect from the Orpheus Lyre, there are other powers available. Check the last spoiler to see how the configuration works). Alongside this unique feature, the mod is steeped in mythology, boasting special armor, nods to ancient tales, dungeons, and much more. It's a mythological ride with a twist of fun and adventure!*

How to get some items:
Get Calliope's Love (spoilers)
If you are playing in Fabric or Forge Orpheus 0.8 I recommend you just to follow the advacements to know how to do it, Is cooler! So close this spoiler if that is the case!

Calliope's Love: While on top of a mythos block, put flowers around, hold the Hellenic Codex and shift.

How to config
Hi! This is easy. Go to your Minecraft folder, and you will see a "config" folder. Inside, you will find a file called "orpheus-config.json" – that's the config!
For now, there are two effects for the Orpheus Lyre: one keeps inventory, and the other makes you immune to arrows

If you input "keep" it will give you the KeepInventory effect. If you input "protect" it will grant you immunity to arrows. If you input the word "both", you will have both effects.
The KeepInventory effect is the default one.

Server bestellen
Bestelle einen Minecraft Java Server mit mindestens 3 GB RAM (4 GB empfohlen).
fabric Loader setzen
Wähle im Panel unter "Egg" den fabric-Loader und die passende Minecraft-Version (1.20.2).
Mod installieren
Öffne den Mod-Browser im Dashboard und suche nach "Orpheus | Forge & Fabric". Klicke "Installieren" – fertig! Alternativ: Lade die .jar via SFTP in den /mods Ordner.

Orpheus | Forge & Fabric Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
Häufigste Ursache: falsche fabric-Version oder zu wenig RAM. Prüfe im Server-Log (latest.log), ob ein "OutOfMemoryError" oder "Mixin"-Fehler auftritt. Bei Mado Hosting: Stelle sicher, dass mindestens 3 GB RAM zugewiesen sind und der Loader zur Mod-Version passt (1.20.2). Über das Panel kannst du den Loader mit einem Klick wechseln.
Ist Orpheus | Forge & Fabric mit fabric und forge und neoforge kompatibel?
Orpheus | Forge & Fabric unterstützt offiziell fabric, forge, neoforge für Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20. Achtung: Forge- und Fabric-Mods sind NICHT untereinander kompatibel – wähle einen Loader und bleibe dabei. Im Mado Dashboard werden inkompatible Loader-Kombinationen automatisch erkannt.
Server laggt mit Orpheus | Forge & Fabric – wie optimiere ich die Performance?
Empfohlener RAM: 4 GB (+1 GB pro 8 Spieler). Prüfe mit /spark profiler, ob Orpheus | Forge & Fabric den meisten Tick-Time verbraucht. Häufige Fixes: Server-View-Distance auf 8-10 reduzieren, bei Forge "performant" oder "starlight" als Zusatz-Mod installieren. Bei Mado Hosting läuft dein Server auf NVMe-SSDs mit dedizierten CPU-Kernen für minimale Latenz.
