Voltex
Voltex is an industrial tech mod for Minecraft 1.20.1. It adds a full progression
of machines, power generation, ore processing, automation and multiblocks, built
around Forge Energy. If you like factories that turn raw ore into refined
materials and then into advanced machines, Voltex gives you a complete tech tree
to work through.
The mod ships with an in game guide (Patchouli) that walks you through every
system, so you are never left guessing what to build next.
Highlights
- Ore processing that doubles and triples your metal yield
- Over a dozen processing machines, each with its own recipes
- Power from coal, solar panels and a nuclear reactor
- Ten tiers of solar panels
- A 3x3x3 nuclear reactor and a 3x3x3 ore generating miner
- An item and fluid logistics network
- Machine upgrades for speed and parallel processing
- An in game Patchouli guide and full JEI support
Ore processing and materials
Voltex adds new metals and a chain to get the most out of them. The Crusher
grinds ore and items into dust for double output. The Ore Washer goes further,
turning ore into three dust plus a chance of byproducts using water. Dust is
smelted into ingots, pressed into plates, and combined into the components that
higher tier machines need.
Machines
A full set of processing machines, each with its own role:
- Electric Furnace, Blast Furnace and Compressor for smelting and compressing
- Metal Former for rolling and extruding metal into plates, rods and wire
- Liquefier and Fluid Enricher for turning items and fluids into new fluids
- Extractor, Phase Splitter and Restructor for specialized recipes
- Cultivator for growing plants and crystals, and a Capsule Filler for fluids
The Blast Furnace is driven by a Thermogenerator that supplies its heat. Most
machines accept upgrades and run on Forge Energy.
Power generation
- A Coal generator for early game power
- Solar Panels across ten tiers, from a trickle to serious output
- A 3x3x3 Nuclear Reactor with fuel rods, components and heat management, for the
most power at the most risk
Resource generation
Lava, Water and Stone generators produce those resources on demand for your
recipes and machines. They run on power rather than producing it.
Automation and storage
- An item and fluid logistics network with filtered connectors
- Capsules for carrying and inserting fluids by hand
- Energy backpacks in three tiers to keep your gear charged
- Machine upgrades: accelerators trade energy for speed, parallel modules let a
machine process many items at once, and heat vents manage reactor heat
Multiblocks
- The Nuclear Reactor is a 3x3x3 build with multiple component layouts and a real
risk of meltdown if you ignore cooling - The Miner is a 3x3x3 structure that produces a steady supply of ores, chosen by
a lens, instead of digging up the world
Progression and compatibility
Voltex is built around a tiered tech tree, from your first crusher to endgame
matter generation. The in game Patchouli guide explains every system and recipe,
and JEI is supported for recipe lookup. The mod is friendly to pack makers
through KubeJS.
Two optional addons extend Voltex into other mods: Applied Voltex connects it to
Applied Energistics 2, and Voltany connects it to Botania.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge
- Patchouli (for the in game guide)
- JEI is optional but recommended

Voltex Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
