Always Aurora

or Always Raining, Always Rainbow, you name it!

Do you love the look of thunderstorms, rainbows, rain, wind, or the aurora borealis that sometimes appears at night? Do you wish you could play the game under a constant downpour or ever-present rainbow, but still witness the aurora every night? If so, then this mod is for you!

Features

Choose a specific weather event in the mod configuration that will be active at all times during your sessions, or keep the normal weather during the day
Optionally choose a different weather event that will take over during the in-game night
* You can change your choices while in-game and the weather will smoothly transition

The default configuration forces the weather to the aurora during the in-game night and restores the normal weather during the day.

As an example, if you set "Forced Weather Event" to "BP_Weather_Rainbow_C" and "Override During Night" to "BP_Weather_Clear_aurora_C" you will see a rainbow every day and the aurora every night.

Multiplayer

This is a server-side mod. All clients connected to a server with this mod installed will experience the modified weather pattern. Installing it on multiplayer clients has no effect and is not required.

Additional Notes

It usually takes a minute or two for the weather to fully transition between events, including when first joining a session. Be patient!

This mod does not modify the world time, so the aurora borealis might still not be visible during the day. If you also want it to always be night, combine this mod with one that is capable of controlling the world time such as [SkyUI](https://ficsit.app/mod/SkyUI).
