FIFO Containers

FIFO Containers for Satisfactory!

FIFO Containers is a mod for Satisfactory, written in C++/BP using Unreal Engine and the Satisfactory Modloader, which add 2 new containers to the game!

Getting Started

After installing the mod, just complete the Tier 1 Milestone "FIFO Containers", the containers will be available in the build gun EXACTLY near the vanilla ones!

Current Issues

The FIFO Industrial storage behaves weirdly when outputting to 2 conveyor belts, it seems one is FIFO and the other acts like LIFO.
Modded conveyors with high speeds can cause the logic to go all over the place, I am not sure of what can happen, but I believe some items COULD be lost or COULD be duplicated
The code is a VERY naive implementation, so performance may not be great if you spam those containers

Help Wanted!
While the logic to get some FIFO containers running is not hard to implement, making it fast, secure and multiplayer is a different beast!
This is my first project both with C++ and Unreal Engine, so I'm pretty sure there is a lot of room for improvement!
The Future!
Besides making the code better I really wish to add in the near future a "Sequential Storage Container" that would push down the conveyor belts
one item of each stack it contains". I have no idea on how do to this right now :P

FIFO Containers auf dem Server installieren

Satisfactory Server bestellen

Bestelle einen Satisfactory Server mit mindestens 4 GB RAM (6 GB empfohlen). Bei Multiplayer: +1 GB pro 4 Spieler.

Mod installieren

Öffne den Mod-Manager im Dashboard und suche nach "FIFO Containers". Installations-Dependencies werden automatisch mitinstalliert.

Server neu starten

Starte den Server neu, damit die Mod geladen wird. Spieler müssen die Mod ebenfalls lokal installiert haben.

FIFO Containers funktioniert nicht nach Update – was tun?

Nach einem Satisfactory-Update müssen Mods aktualisiert werden. Prüfe auf ficsit.app, ob FIFO Containers bereits für die neue Game-Version aktualisiert wurde. Bei Mado Hosting: Öffne den Mod-Manager und klicke "Alle aktualisieren". Wenn die Mod noch nicht aktualisiert ist, entferne sie temporär, damit der Server startet.

FIFO Containers verursacht Crashes im Multiplayer – Lösung

Häufigste Ursache: alle Spieler müssen exakt die gleiche Mod-Version installiert haben. Prüfe in den Server-Logs nach "ModMismatch" oder "Version Conflict". Stelle sicher, dass alle Spieler FIFO Containers v1.0.0 und den gleichen SML verwenden. Bei Mado Hosting laufen Satisfactory Server mit 6 GB RAM für stabile Multiplayer-Performance.

Ist FIFO Containers mit anderen Satisfactory Mods kompatibel?

FIFO Containers nutzt den Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generell sind SML-basierte Mods untereinander kompatibel, aber Mods die gleiche Game-Systeme ändern, können Konflikte verursachen. Teste neue Mod-Kombinationen am besten auf einem Backup-Save. Im Mado Dashboard werden bekannte Konflikte automatisch erkannt und du wirst gewarnt.
