<h1>Nobelisk Jumper</h1>

The Nobelisk Jumper is a special Nobelisk Detonator/Explosive that does not deal self-damage, allowing you to launch yourself around the world without losing health. Jumper explosions can still damage or destroy enemies, rocks and vegetation like a normal nobelisk explosion.

It's kinda laggy but otherwise Multiplayer Compatible.

<h3>How to Unlock</h3>

Unlock Nobelisk in the Sulfur research tree of the MAM. Then buy the Nobelisk Jumper milestone in the HUB (Tier 4). This unlocks the recipe for the Jumper Detonator in the Equipment Workshop (or an Assembler), and the manual crafting recipe for the explosive. A better and automatable recipe that requires rubber (instead of fabric and biomass) can be unlocked in HUB Tier 5.

<h3>How it works</h3>

The blast damage immunity is associated with having the jumper detonator in your hands. The bomb is functionally just a reskin. This means that you won't take damage from any nobelisk explosions (not just jumper nobelisk) while holding the jumper detonator, and that you will take damage from jumper nobelisk if you dont have a jumper detonator equipped when it explodes. Have fun tricking your friends with that.

<h3>Jumping Tips</h3>

The Nobelisk Jumper works best when paired with the vanilla Jetpack. For max vertical distance, jumping on a little tower of 3-5 nobelisk seems to work most consistently; slide jumping over a nobelisk tower as it detonates is best for horizontal distance. You can boost yourself in any direction with midair nobelisks, but if you throw them in front of you (instead of up, down or turning backwards to throw it) you will often collide with the projectile and lose all of your horizontal speed. Breaking falls with nobelisk is possible but not recommended, it requires good timing. Airbursting nobelisks below you to slow your fall is a bit easier.

But most importantly: Experiment for yourself! There's a wide variety of nobelisk jumping techniques out there, just waiting to be discovered.
