Space Derg Farming Edits

I have no reason to continue working on this mod, as the mod author doesn't like me nor will assist me in any of the goals I have. I have discontinued using Ficsit Farming as it will never reach the goals I had hoped for and will end up requiring unending work to constantly try to patch things around the bad balancing methods of the official mod. Sorry. I will leave this up until it becomes dis-functional.

This is a personal mod of mine, that rebalances [Ficsit Farming](https://ficsit.app/mod/FicsitFarming) in various ways.
At no point, will I be pulling any assets from the official mod to put into mine. This mod will always require the use of the official mod.

Everything I have done in this mod is done through [ContentLib](https://ficsit.app/mod/ContentLib).

Support for this mod has been stopped. The authors have indicated an express dis-interest in any of my suggestions, and some of what I have done will be broken in future updates anyway with no hope of being able to be fixed. Therefor, continuing to work on this, is pointless.

Changes

- Removed most composting recipes.
- Seeds are now given with all crops. All crops give more seeds than they take.
- All crops have had their recipes altered, to produce more, while taking longer.
- Some composting recipes have been altered.
- Dirt recipes should work in the Mixer too, if you have Useful Biofuel installed.
- All crops now require dirt to grow, so you need to pump fresh dirt in with the seeds.

Plans & Wishes

I would have liked being able to randomize seed output in the seed extractor, instead of a static amount. Throwing in dirt and getting back random seeds instead of an always static amount. However this requires, coding. I would also have liked to change dirt requirement to leaves and other brush you get in the wild.

I would also have liked to use the composter for outputting the different dirt types, considering it makes more sense than a packager, when mixing stuff into dirt to make it better for crops.

It would also have been nice to have a more variable crop yield instead of an always static amount. Something that would make it hard to predict if your crops will always produce a good yield.

I will be testing balance changes in this, and adjusting things periodically. That means that, everything in this mod is subject to change. I will be proposing these changes to the official mod as well, but I doubt they'll go through.

Currently most crops grow in 5 minutes, but I plan to change this to a longer duration, and I will also change the cooking costs as well at a near point.

I would have liked to remove the milestone that adds a patreon wall to the game, but that appears to have been coded in, in such a way that I cannot remove it. The authors claim otherwise but they also refuse to assist in its removal.
