If you answered yes to any of these question, this might just be the mod for you!

Storage Outlines adds a bight hightlight to containers that have Ingredients, Products, or both, that are active in your to-do list!

You can specify in the sessions settings how often a search happens, and how far it searches; in the mod config options you can change whether it will only highlight storages with ingredients, products, or both, and adjust the colour of each type of highlighting.
