Connect to Your Minecraft Server

After your server is set up, you can connect in just a few steps.

Find Your Server Address

  • Open the Dashboard and select your server.

  • The server address is displayed at the top of the server page (e.g. play.example.mado-hosting.com).

  • The default port for Minecraft Java is 25565.
  • Connect in Minecraft

  • Start Minecraft Java Edition.

  • Click on "Multiplayer".

  • Click on "Add Server".

  • Enter a name and the server address.

  • Click "Done" and then "Join Server".
  • Invite Friends

Simply share the server address with your friends. They can connect the same way. Optionally, you can set up a whitelist to restrict access to specific players.

    Connection Issues?

  • Make sure the server is running (check status in the dashboard).

  • Verify you're using the correct Minecraft version.

  • If you're using a firewall, make sure port 25565 is open.
