This mod allows enabling and disabling mods without removing their JAR files manually. Currently supports 🦊️Neoforge 1.21.x
⚙️How it works
Mods are moved to/from a 'disabled' subfolder inside your mods directory.
Changes take effect after restarting Minecraft.
Open the GUI with the Mod Toggler button in the main menu.
🛠️Usage
- Enter the mod toggler menu using the Mod Toggler button in the game's main menu
- All mods in the mods folder will appear in the menu with their names and versions
- If it can't detect the mod's name it will show the mod's file name
- If it can't detect the mod's version it will show v?
- Click unwanted/wanted mods to toggle them
- Restart is required for changes to take affect

This mod isn't finished yet, but more updates and Minecraft version support are coming soon.

How to Install Mod Toggler on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mod Toggler". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Mod Toggler server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Mod Toggler compatible with neoforge?
Mod Toggler officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Mod Toggler – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Mod Toggler consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
