About this Mod
❓ What are these configs? (WTC)
Have you ever thought that Minecraft is either too ordinary or not weird enough? What are these configs? is a fully modular chaotic tweak-mod that introduces a collection of hyper-realistic, completely bizarre, and incredibly funny mechanics.
Every single feature can be toggled on or off using a built-in YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) configuration menu!
Features
Too Realistic
- Glass Cuts: Breaking glass blocks with your bare hands inflicts bleeding damage. Use proper tools!
- Slippery Hands: Attacking entities under the rain without a helmet gives a small 1% chance to accidentally drop your weapon.
- Heavy Gold: Gold is insanely heavy! Wearing a full set of gold armor or holding gold blocks in both hands slows you down.
- Choking Campfire Smoke: Standing directly inside campfire smoke will irritate your eyes, causing temporary blindness.
- Raw Meat Sickness: Eating raw meat (beef, pork, mutton, rabbit) carries a 35% chance of severe nausea.
- Mega Cacti: Desert cacti can now naturally grow much taller, occasionally generating massive pillars up to 25 blocks high, just like real-life Saguaro cacti!
Weird Mechanics
- Pickaxe Climbing: Hold a pickaxe in each hand and hold
Wagainst a wall to climb it like a ladder. - Defuse Creeper: Did a creeper sneak up on you? Right-click a hissing or ignited creeper with shears to safely defuse it and harvest extra gunpowder!
- Lasso Lead: Hold
Shiftand right-click with a lead into the air to lasso and hook any leashable mob from up to 15 blocks away. - Torch Warmth: Holding a torch in either hand will naturally and slowly melt nearby snow layers and ice.
- King Salmon: Feed regular salmon with Raw Cod to make them grow! They will scale up to the size of a boat, but beware—once fully grown, they turn into aggressive apex predators that attack everything in sight (drops heaps of fish and bone meal upon defeat).
Very Funny
- Bonemeal Sheep: Using bone meal on a sheared sheep instantly regrows its wool.
- Warden's Dance Break: Place a jukebox near a Warden and play any music disc to completely pacify the beast and force it to dance.
- Sonic Villager Panic: Hitting a villager grants them Speed III, causing them to run away at ridiculous speeds while leaving a trail of flame particles behind.
- Bed Trampoline: Beds act exactly like slime blocks—negating fall damage and bouncing you high into the air!
- Chicken Parachute: Hold a chicken egg in each hand to significantly slow down your fall speed.
- *Zero Gravity (Idea by: Indeedie):* Turn this config off, and absolutely every newly spawned mob in the world will lose gravity and uncontrollably float up into space!
