AutoRun
Hands free movement with a toggle-able key press. Save strain on your hand while running those long distances.
Description

Hands Free Movement

Satisfactory has been seriously lacking a feature to automatically run on a key press. Even work arounds and janky hacks found by the community don't work or are unreliable. Now, with this mod, you can press a key and automatically move hands free.

Configuration:

Defaults to the Caps lock key to initiate movement.
Provides a keybinding to allow changes to the Autorun key in the keybind options of the game.
Provides 2 different ways of stopping autorun movement:

Default - Toggling Autorun, Moving Forwards or Backwards

Toggle Only - Only disables movement on toggling autorun.

Configuration to allow autorun to turn off automatically if you get 'stuck'. Not paying attention and you run into something? Now you can keep from autorunning off that cliff.
- Disable When Stuck: This configuration uses the following two settings to enable behavior of the mod to disable autorun when a player is 'stuck'.
- Stuck Speed Ratio: When running against an option, sometimes you slide to the side. Technically still moving forward but at a slower speed. This setting configures what you want that ratio to be for the mod to detect you as 'stuck'.
- Stuck Seconds: This setting configures the amount of time needed under the stuck speed ratio to be considered 'stuck'.

Updates:

This has been re-coded from scratch for Satisfactory 1.1. Limited testing has been completed, but I feel it's at a stable working version, and can get uploaded. Adjusted it a few times since 1.1 to fix functionality like adding ability to use in Multiplayer. Please report any bugs encountered specifically relating to multiplayer.
Additional features will come out as needed or when things need to fix. Please leave any feedback so that I can work to improve this mod to provide an additional layer of accessibility to everyone to play this game.

Future Plans:

Frequently Asked Questions
AutoRun not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether AutoRun has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
AutoRun causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use AutoRun v1.2.1 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is AutoRun compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
AutoRun uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
