Better Train Collision
Improves Train collision objects and derailments
Description
Collisions:
--
The Locomotive and Freight Wagon collision models have been completely revamped. You can now stand on couplers, and bogies. The airbrakes on top of the locomotive now also have collisions, and are able to throw you off the train, if they open while you're standing on them.
Derailments:
--
Train derailments have also been completely overhauled. Trains will now have far more accurate collisions when derailed. Moving parts like bogies and wheels, airbrakes, engine turbines, and the large brakes on locomotives will now all continue to move when the train has derailed. Derailed trains are also able to continue rolling on the ground, off the track, if they land on their wheels.
Confirmed multiplayer compatible!

Frequently Asked Questions
Better Train Collision not working after update β what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Better Train Collision has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Better Train Collision causing crashes in multiplayer β solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Better Train Collision v2.3.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Better Train Collision compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Better Train Collision uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
