Description

Adds a settings menu in the mods section of the pause menu and the main menu, that allows fine tuning the 3rd person camera on all vehicles to your liking.

Adds the ability to zoom in/out while driving a vehicle using the scroll wheel (this can be turned off in the mod settings, and the keybind changed in the keybind menu)

Also fixes the truck's 3rd person camera clipping into ceilings.

Known issues:
- Changing Camera mode (default binding C) when camera yaw is unlocked causes the camera to point East
- Having the camera yaw unlocked causes the camera position to snap when getting into the respective vehicle

How to Install Better Vehicle Camera on Your Server

Order Satisfactory Server

Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.

Install Mod

Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "Better Vehicle Camera". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.

Restart Server

Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.

Better Vehicle Camera not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Better Vehicle Camera has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
