Mod Collection Overview

Concrete Construction is a collection of 3 mods which where heavily inspired by D4rk's - [Structural Solutions](https://ficsit.app/mod/SS_Mod "Structural Solutions") mod (specifically the Concrete section of this mod). I thoroughly enjoy using this mod and I think 99% of my buildings in Satisfactory are made from Structural Solutions parts. It is through using Structural Solutions so much, that I found myself wanting more....

The mod is divided in to 3 parts which can be unlocked as Tier 1 milestones:

1. [Concrete Construction - Main](https://ficsit.app/mod/ConcreteConstructionMain "Concrete Construction - Main")
2. [Concrete Construction - Asphalt](https://ficsit.app/mod/ConcreteConstructionAsphalt "Concrete Construction - Asphalt")
3. [Concrete Construction - Curved Ramps](https://ficsit.app/mod/ConcreteConstructionCurvedRamps "Concrete Construction - Curved Ramps")

All together the mods add 5 new main categories to your build menu:

1. CC - Foundations
2. CC - Ramps
3. CC - Walls
4. CC - Domes
5. CC - Asphalt

###

The Asphalt mod is contained in it's dedicated category, whereas Curved Ramps adds items to CC - Ramps, CC - Walls and CC - Asphalt.

###

Due to the shear number of objects the mods add to the game, i've tried to make things more organised by colour coding the icons so its easier to identify different shape groups.

Concrete Construction - Main Overview

So, this is the big chunky monkey... This mod adds 521 buildables to the game which are all concrete.

These shapes are the main/core building pieces of Concrete Construction.
There are some very small pieces in the mod, which might seem excessively small, but they work really well when making curves with [Curve Builder](https://ficsit.app/mod/CurveBuilder "Curve Builder"). They also provide lots of opportunities for adding small details to buildings.

Included are:

1. Normal foundations, ranging from 8x8x8m down to 1x1x0.5m
2. Corner foundations, ranging from 8x8x8m down to 2x2x0.5m
3. Inner and outer rounded foundations, ranging from 32x32x8m down to 1x1x0.5m
4. Rounded ramps, ranging from 32x32x8m down to 1x1x1m

![alt text](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/FlaccidMember/Concrete-Construction/refs/heads/main/Screenshots/CCMPMainFound16m32m.png "CC Main")

5. Foundation bevels (1m or 2m) - can be used with the rounded foundations
6. Stairs and stair corners
7. Ramps and ramp corners + their inverted counterparts, ranging from 8x8x8m down to 1x1x1 and 4x4x0.5
- ###

There are no inward facing ramp corners. They do exist but I removed them since they can easily be made by just overlapping 2 ramps together.

8. Normal walls, ranging from 8x8m to 2x0.5m
9. Wall ramps + their inverted counterparts, ranging from 8x8m to 2x0.5m
10. Tilted walls, ranging from 8x8m to 2x0.5m
11. Wall bevels and edges, similar to foundation bevels/ramps but much smaller and they snap to walls.
12. Conveyor walls, doors and gates

13. And finally is all the dome pieces which includes - Domes, inverted domes, inner and outer corner domes, with various walls to match each dome size.

Known issues

1. The only problem I'm aware of at the time of release is the snapping of very small or very large objects. Due to the limitation of using the vanilla hologram code, there's nothing to support correct snapping when shapes become too small or too large. Unless someone out there feels like making some hologram blueprints then the best solution is to make sure you have [Infinite Nudge](https://ficsit.app/mod/InfiniteNudge "Infinite Nudge") installed and nudge the problematic shapes in to place.

If you find any problems or have any suggestions, please contact me (FishFace) in the [Satisfactory Modding Discord](https://discord.gg/ewsm6XZw72 "Satisfactory Modding Discord")

Credits

This is my first mod and in the process, i've asked hundreds of questions to which lots of people have taken the time to answer and explain things to me. Without them, Concrete Construction would not exist!

1. Muppet Burrito - Encouraged and convinced me to actually learn how this all works as well as answering hundreds of questions along the way. Muppet deserves the biggest chunk of gratitude in helping this mod come to fruition.
1. D4rk - This mod heavily draws upon [Structural Solutions](https://ficsit.app/mod/SS_Mod "Structural Solutions") for inspiration and without it, Concrete Construction wouldn't be what it is. As my first mod and with no experience in the field, I relied on [Structural Solutions](https://ficsit.app/mod/SS_Mod "Structural Solutions") not only as inspiration, but as a template to make sure my own mod worked correctly. In addition, D4rk also helped in figuring out how to make my materials function in the same way as his own concrete pieces do.
3. AngryBeaver - Took the time explain materials in detail and offered specific guides to help me understand my specific goals in making this mod.
4. Rovetown - Helped with troubleshooting problems and gave lots of feedback on how the mod is setup and what features are available.
5. Rex - Helped with troubleshooting problems.
6. Kimper - Gave feedback on the layout and features in the mod, as well as testing some aspects of the mod.
7. Robb - Explained some very useful aspects of mod deployment and saved the mod from being deployed as one big chunky thing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Concrete Construction - Main not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Concrete Construction - Main has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

Concrete Construction - Main causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Concrete Construction - Main v1.0.6 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is Concrete Construction - Main compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

Concrete Construction - Main uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
