Description

This mod's sole purpose is to figure out which building is causing the game to crash with this exact reason:

```
Assertion failed: itemClass [File:C:\BuildAgent\work\607eee041ab2bfcf\UE4\FactoryGame\Source\FactoryGame\Private\FGInventoryComponent.cpp] [Line: 1342]
```

If you do NOT experience these crashes, DO NOT USE THIS MOD.

When the mod catches the condition that would cause a crash, it will log debugging details to the game log and send the following chat message:

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS.

The mod just ignored something that the Satisfactory developers consider to be a "should never happen" condition. The consequences of this are unpredictable, but among the worst things that can happen is silent save corruption (the kind that you only discover when it's too late).

Frequently Asked Questions

Inventory Tick Crash Debugger not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Inventory Tick Crash Debugger has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

Inventory Tick Crash Debugger causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Inventory Tick Crash Debugger v0.3.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is Inventory Tick Crash Debugger compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

Inventory Tick Crash Debugger uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
