No Invalid Floor Placement
Simple mod that removes the "Surface is too uneven" restriction from buildables
Description
Due to the proliferation of generative AI use in the modding community and its support from the game developers, I will no longer be developing mods for Satisfactory. My currently released will be kept updated for compatibility only. Thankyou for your understanding.
___This mod removes floor placement restrictions on buildables, allowing you to build them on any steepness of terrain! No more "Surface is too uneven" warning!
There is a mod session setting that toggles whether the leg/feet components are built, the ones that support factory buildings. Requires a save and reload for change to take effect.
(Despite the name, this doesn't remove the "invalid placement" that happens when you try to build into destroyable rock clusters, or when creatures are in the way; only the base floor validity check is modified)

Frequently Asked Questions
No Invalid Floor Placement not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether No Invalid Floor Placement has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
No Invalid Floor Placement causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use No Invalid Floor Placement v1.1.5 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is No Invalid Floor Placement compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
No Invalid Floor Placement uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
