Ore Randomizer Mod
Randomizes ore purity (and soon locations) across the map
Description
<br />
Have you gotten bored of the Satisfactory map? Do you miss when you didn't know about the best starting locations and resource nodes across the map and could discover those for yourself? This mod is designed to help add variety to playthroughs by randomizing those resources.
Features
-
- Randomizes resource purity across the map based on existing purity distributions for each resource. This does not apply to fracking nodes.
- (COMING SOON) Shuffles ore locations around.
Notes
-
- IMPORTANT: make sure to change the seed to a different number in the mod config before starting! (default seed is 0).
- seed is tied to save game.
- adding any nodes will mess up the randomization. Avoid adding mods that add resources after the save has been created.
- uninstalling the mod will un-randomize everything to vanilla.

The mod is very much in alpha, but has been moderately tested. Please report bugs/crashes to the github page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ore Randomizer Mod not working after update β what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Ore Randomizer Mod has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Ore Randomizer Mod causing crashes in multiplayer β solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Ore Randomizer Mod v1.0.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Ore Randomizer Mod compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Ore Randomizer Mod uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
