Hard Drives take 10 minutes to analyze in the MAM, while every other research node finishes in 3 seconds. This mod makes Hard Drive analysis take 3 seconds too. No balance changes beyond the timer.

Details

Pure C++ runtime patch: the hard drive research schematic's mTimeToComplete is set to 3s when a world loads. No vanilla assets are modified on disk, so it's save-safe, remove the mod and scans simply go back to 10 minutes.
A scan already in progress when you install/remove the mod keeps its original remaining time; only newly started scans use the new duration.
* Works in multiplayer (research time is host/server authority) and on dedicated servers (Windows; Linux build not yet provided)

How to Install Solid State - Faster Hard Drives on Your Server

Order Satisfactory Server

Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.

Install Mod

Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "Solid State - Faster Hard Drives". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.

Restart Server

Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.
