About this Modpack
Welcome to Aeiroth Pond!

It's a quite heavily modded 1.20.1 Minecraft, but mostly kept in style of Vanilla+. It includes many categories of mods, which expand upon many areas of Minecraft, but also couple of my favourite resource packs and shader packs.
Optimization
It includes lots of optimization mods that help run a big modpack like this fairly well, although assinging 4-8gb of ram is recommended!
QoL
These range from slight graphic upgrades to fixing annoying gameplay elements. Right Click Harvest, Anti-Creeper, Biome Particle Weather to name a few.
Gameplay
There quite few mods expanding gameplay possibilities - farming, combat, new enemies, new dungeons. Many of them aren't that vanilla+, but me and my friends enjoy them.
Examples: Many Let's do mods, Bountiful, Dungeon Now Loading, Wizards (RPG Series), Create.
Building
This modpack enhances your building capabilities, by adding lots of blocks or decorations, which come from mods like: Chipped, Dusty Decorations, Handcrafted.
World generation
Many world generation and structure mods are included, which completely revamp how Minecraft worlds look like: Better Nether, Terralith, many YUNG's Better structure and more are included.
Fluff/Random
There are couple mods just for fun, that aren't really vanilla, but you can ignore them for the most part, like: The Aether
I can't make promises on updating it regularly, so I'm sorry if anything breaks!

Frequently Asked Questions
Aeiroth Pond server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Aeiroth Pond server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Aeiroth Pond without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Aeiroth Pond server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
