Anville
Cobblemon, Create and lots of QOL mods, bundled together on their latest available version of Minecraft.
About this Modpack

Cobblemon and Create on 1.21.1 NeoForge. Anville offers a lightweight modpack similar to Glade, but with larger content mods.
Much like Glade, Anville will update to each new Minecraft version, but only once the content mods have updated too.
This means that Anville will update slower than Glade when a new Minecraft version is released.

What is Anville?
- Anville is lightly modded experience built on the foundation of Glade and its principles.
- When Anville updates to a new Minecraft version, you can relax knowing that the modpack will be compatible with your current world. Due to Anville's inclusion of larger content mods, this process will not be as fast as with Glade.
- The selection of game-changing content mods is greater than Glade, with large additions such as Create and Cobblemon. Anville remains however a light modpack with little to no overlap in features between selected mods.
- There are a myriad of clientside quality of experience mods that enhance visuals, performance and gameplay. This selection may change from version to version but won't affect your worlds.
Who is this modpack for?
- This modpack is for anyone who wants to play a modpack long term, but wants more variety in mods than Glade offers. If you want to be on each new version of Minecraft ASAP, try Glade, but if you don't mind waiting for the content mods in Anville to update, try this modpack instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
Anville server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong neoforge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Anville server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Anville without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (neoforge) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Anville server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
