About this Modpack
A small modpack focused on improving exploring and building experience by adding more Buildings, Structures and dungeons to conquer and loot as well as extending the tools available for builders. It includes an End Overhaul to make exploring more exciting in late game as well as more biomes to explore in both nether and the overworld.
It comes shipped with Shader Support through Iris as well as performance mods like sodium and nvidium. A default Shader and Texture Pack is also included. It also features some QOL of mods like JEI, JourneyMap, Shulker Tooltips and Appleskin. Some fun mods like Barrel Role for Elytra are added as well, but can be disabled as wished.
Its mostly ment for our small server, which is shipped with the modpack from version 2.0.2 onwards, but can also be used for single- or multiplayer worlds.
IMPORTANT
For Singleplayer Worlds, the LuckPerms Placeholder Mod needs to be disabled. Otherwise your Client will Crash. This is a Mod only needed for Servers and also only on the server side. You can savely disable this when connecting to a server as well

Frequently Asked Questions
Applecraft 2.0 server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Applecraft 2.0 server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Applecraft 2.0 without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Applecraft 2.0 server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
