About this Modpack

What is A Shared Experience?
A Shared Experience is a modpack built to bring you and your friends together for a fun new experience in Minecraft. You and your friends will share Health and Inventory.
This can either make friendships, or break friendships. You have been warned
What does this mean?
Shared Inventory
If you pick up something, the item is shared across all inventories. This also means that if you were to die, all the items that dropped at your death point, everyone looses those items. TLDR you share an inventory.
I will explain this better later on, please be patient with us.Shared Health
If one of you takes damage, all of you take damage.
TLDR
This modpack makes it so that every player inside of the world is the same player. Everyone shares everything.
I know this poorly explained, please be patient with us as we work on a better description.
What is the vision behind A Shared Experience?
Our endgoal with this pack is to create something that hasent been done before, a unique experience that you cant find elsewhere. We hope that the contents of this pack find you well and that you enjoy everything that comes packaged with A Shared Experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
A Shared Experience server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a A Shared Experience server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to A Shared Experience without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.5). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
A Shared Experience server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
