About this Modpack

The Overworld welcomes a new age - The Age of Abominations. Though we may never reclaim this land, we may yet claim another. As you journey through these treacherous lands, you discover the plans for a way to escape the Overworld - a new planet to call home. This is Astra Abomina.

What is Astra Abomina?

Astra Abomina is a horror-themed modpack with a goal to escape to the stars. Fight a myriad of terrifying creatures as you work to build your spaceship to escape the Overworld.

What kind of threats will I face?

Most abominations have claimed all those who tried to document them, but we do know that they lurk in the caves and the fog...

How do I escape?

That will depend entirely upon your skills. Those brave enough to venture into the Overworld will find the means to escape it entirely, however, in this quest they may find the means to push back against the abominations and reclaim what was lost.

How to Set Up a Astra Abomina Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Astra Abomina). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Astra Abomina" and click "Install". The forge loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Astra Abomina server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong forge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match.
