About this Modpack
Beyond Reality is a modpack featuring mods that focus on liminal horror. These mods add dozens of alternate liminal dimensions for you to explore, endless mazes of unearthly places. Places that look like something from your half-forgotten childhood memories. Places where you may not be alone.
The intention of the modpack is to leave the Overworld as unchanged as possible, putting the focus on the liminal dimensions. This is with the intent of making it feel like the dimensions are an entirely different reality rather than part of your world. Mods that restore classic textures, mechanics, and world generation are also added to give the mod a nostalgic feel.
Main Mods:
- Wonderland.jar
- The Backwoods
- Dimensional Doors
- Capybara's Liminal Spaces
- Places
- Project Alpha
- Echoes of Nowhere
- gooddreams.
Notes:
It is highly recommended to not attempt to enter another dimension unless you have some basic gear stored away (or have keepinventory on), as you can very easily lose all your items. Of course, you don't always have a choice...
The mod good dreams makes it so sleeping in the Overworld is guaranteed to send you to another dimension. This does not affect sleeping in the dimensions added by Wonderland.jar sending you to other Wonderland.jar dimensions.
When first entering the complex of dimensions in Places, your spawn is set in The Backrooms, so make sure you are ready before entering them.
