About this Modpack
Beyond the Reef - Oceanic Modpack with cool ocean world gen!
This modpack, which is dedicated to Vision Projects' Minecraft-project sharing the name, is all about exploring the ocean ... but not just the basic ocean! The world generation has been adjusted by various datapacks and mods to feature for example:
- Ocean Cities
- Ships
- Sky Islands over the sea
- Beautiful landscape
- Deeper ocean ground for even more fun
Some QoL mods enhance the gameplay and simplify building under water.
There are also well-chosen optimization mods to provide seamless performance without lags and incompatibilities!

How to Set Up a Beyond the Reef Server
Order Server
Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Beyond the Reef). Based on player count: per 5 players.
Install Modpack in Dashboard
Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Beyond the Reef" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.21.8 are configured automatically.
Start Server & Play
Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Beyond the Reef server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match.
