About this Modpack

Blockify [Minecraft Edition] - Modpack

This mod is a recreation of the survival horror game Pacify, fully adapted for Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1.

Experience the terror of the original Pacify game, fully recreated in Minecraft.

This project is a complete conversion that turns Minecraft into a survival horror experience. You are a paranormal investigator hired to check on an old funeral home. But there is a rumor... a girl named Emilia is haunting the place, and she is not alone.

👻 What does this project add?

Unlike simple horror maps, this modpack features custom coded mechanics and unique 3D models to replicate the exact gameplay of Pacify:

  • Custom Entity AI: Face off against Emilia, who switches between a calm wandering state and a terrifying flying monster.
  • 3D Animated Models: Fully animated custom assets using GeckoLib (The Girl, Marked Dolls, Boiler, Matchbox, etc.).
  • Gameplay Mechanics:
    • Boiler System: Gather wood and matches to keep the fire going.
    • Doll Hunting: Find the marked dolls and burn them to win.
    • Pacify Mechanic: Hold a normal doll to calm Emilia down if she charges at you.
    • Revive System: Use the boiler to bring fallen teammates back to life.

🕯️ How to Play

Your goal is simple: Burn 9 Marked Dolls.

  1. Explore the house and find Keys to unlock bedrooms, the attic, and the basement.
  2. Loot Wood and Matches to activate the Boiler in the basement.
  3. Catch the Marked Dolls running around the house.
  4. Burn them in the boiler.
  5. Survive. If Emilia transforms, run, hide, or give her a normal doll.

How to Set Up a Blockify Server

1

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Blockify). Based on player count: per 5 players.

2

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Blockify" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

3

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Frequently Asked Questions

Blockify server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Blockify server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to Blockify without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Blockify server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
