Caerott Challenges
Caerott Challenges- where every version features a different challenge!
About this Modpack

A collection of challenge modpacks, where every version features a new challenge to overcome!
Caerott Challenge modpacks are designed for use in multiplayer, but these packs work completely fine in singleplayer, with premade challenge worlds ready to use.
Each download in the versions tab correlates to a different Caerott Challenge, so be sure to have a look at them instead of only downloading the latest version.
🥕 The Challenges 🥕

Caerott Challenges - Gravity Cube throws you inside of a massive box, where each face features a different biome. Roughly every four minutes, the gravity will randomise, sending everyone towards different faces of the cube!
Main mods included: Gravity API, Universal Ores

Caerott Challenges - Teeny Town shrinks you down to a single block tall, and throws you onto a single chunk surrounded by the void. Can you survive in a world so teeny?
Main mods included: Pehkui, Immersive Portals, Promenade

Caerott Challenges - Caerott's Guns is less of a challenge modpack, and more of a "What if Minecraft was an FPS". This one works best when played on a multiplayer server with friends.
Main mods included: Timeless and Classics Guns, Xaero's Minimap (Fair-Play)

Caerott Challenges - Quirky Quests takes you to world where random "Quirk Effects" happen every few minutes. These effects can be anything from starting an acid rain downpour, to locking you to a single point of health! There are 22 effects that can be picked. Can you survive the many effects whilst completing quests from the quest board?
Main mods included: Bountiful, Create, Toxicity, FastMove, Immersive Melodies

Caerott Challenges - Deadly Dreams sends you to a pale garden, in a world trapped in eternal night. Your maximum health has been halved, and natural regeneration has been disabled. With immediate respawning and keepinventory enabled, every one of your many deaths will feel like waking from a nightmare... that will never end...
Main mods included: Foggy Pale Garden, Hearty Meals, Farsighted Mobs

Caerott Challenges - Sketchy Skies is an alternative take on Skyblock, with many new crafting recipes and gameplay tweaks!
Main mods included: Craftable, Happier Ghasts, PolyDecorations

Caerott Challenges - Mutual Munching leaves you stranded in a desert. Starving in a world with no food, you're left with no other choice but to eat the world itself! If you're playing with friends, you also share an inventory. Can you survive?
Main mods included: Shared Inventory, Fog, Hang Glider, Tumbleweeds

Caerott Challenges - Jumpsneak Jest drops you into an amplified world. Jumping or sneaking here results in death. With a bunch of mods intended for friends to mess around with, can you all survive, or will your death counters reach triple digits?
Main mods included: Sneak Fertilizing, Jagm's Kiwis, Undertale Death Screen

Frequently Asked Questions
Caerott Challenges server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Caerott Challenges server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Caerott Challenges without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.8). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Caerott Challenges server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
