CampfireCraft
This is Campfirecraft, a Vanilla-Plus based Modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1!
About this Modpack
Hello and Welcome to CampfireCraft,
a Vanilla-plus focused Modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1! CampfireCraft's main goal is to make Minecraft feel like as complete of a game as possible, with multiple quality of life additions and extensions into areas of the game that have been made empty by newer Minecraft updates.
Here are some key features on that CampfireCraft adds:
World ore generation has been tripled.
Enchantments that scale higher can go up to 10.
This modpack dislikes the Warden. Under world creation gamerules, you can turn off Sonic boom, and level up your health to 20 hearts(40 hit points)
With structure generation mods, all generated structures feel in-line with the new minecraft, but not too many to overcrowd the world.
A plethora of quality of life mods, such as BetterTotem, EasyShulkerBoxes, SpyGlassBinder, ElytraSlot, Quivers from Supplementaries, Villager Leads and much more to address some of the complaints from the minecraft community surrounding the vanilla game.
The main content expansions are Food (Farmer's Delight) and the End, so it feels feature-filled and in-line with the Overworld and the Nether. This is done with BetterEnd, and EndRemastered.
Included are preconfigured VanillaPlus resource pack, smoothercreeper and Eclectic tove, to give minecraft a streamlined appearance with the game's new art direction.
Slight bedrock parity, with Cauldron Dyeing and Bedrock Enchantment features
Ingame Voice chat mod included
No Telemetry/Chat reporting.
Keeping mod overlap as minimal as possible.
This modpack will still go through some updates, and more features will be added in the near future.
Modpack created by MikeTheMike2014. Huge thanks to all the mod authors of all the mods featured in the pack! All I did was assemble the modpack, and make some slight changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
CampfireCraft server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a CampfireCraft server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to CampfireCraft without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
CampfireCraft server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
