Why Play This Pack?
Lightweight & performant: Built with performance in mind, so it runs well even on modest PCs.

Installation Notes
Fabric Loader Required: This pack requires Fabric loader ≥ 0.17.3.
- Java Version: This modpack requires Java 21 to run correctly. Some launchers may default to Java 17 on first launch, which will cause errors. If this happens, simply switch the instance to Java 21 using your launcher’s Java settings. (Step-by-step instructions are included in the gallery.)
Memory: While lightweight, we recommend allocating at least 4–6 GB of RAM for a smooth experience, especially in multiplayer or heavy building sessions.
Permissions & Licensing
All included mods are distributed in compliance with their licenses.
If any mod has special “all rights reserved” licensing, permission to redistribute has been explicitly obtained (or verified) according to Modrinth’s policies.
Modrinth Help Center
+1The pack uses the official .mrpack format for Modrinth, and all files are packaged correctly per Modrinth’s modpack format guidelines.

Known Issues / Caveats
Some mods may require you to tweak your Java launcher settings or instance configuration (especially if your launcher defaults to older Java versions).
Random chunks not loading during world generation, causing surrounding chunks to be invisible. Currently exploring reasons for cause. Tempoarary fix to fill failed chunk with solid block.
Controlify (controller support mod) conflicting with mod config screens, causing crash. Current workaround to disable controlify when editing mod settings, then re-enabling once happy with changes.
Future Plans
Occasional updates to keep mods up to date and compatible.
Possibly adding optional modules / packs (via overrides) for more magical or decorative content without bloating the core experience.
Community-driven improvements: feedback is welcome — if you have ideas for QoL, decor, or light content mods, I’m open to adding more.

With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to chillin bros pack without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
chillin bros pack server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time.
