About this Modpack

Cinnamon - Lightweight, smooth, and useful
Tired of modpacks with over 100 mods? that was Overly Fancy for you. But introducing something a lot smoother, better, and customisable.
Cinnamon is a modpack made to succeed Overly Fancy, a forked modpack. It was discontinued not only because of being really heavy to run, but also terribly optimized and lack of updates (because there was literally over 100 mods)
Cinnamon is not meant to be like the previous modpack, it instead focuses on simplicity, being lightweight (so my computer can run it), and useful. Afterall, who needs mods when resourcepacks can do anything!
Most updates are mod-update based, which means it only updates the mod and adds almost nothing new.
Mod List:
Available at Versions Tab, along with changelogs.
### IMPORTANT
Starting 1.21.5, Cinnamon will only be optimization based. This means that versions below 1.21.4 will be counted as outdated and the new versions will be very bare bones. The mod count will be reduced from 30 to 12-15s. But do not worry! New modpacks will be created focusing on Visual, Utilites, and Optimization! (Cinnamon is the optimization one). So make sure to be looking forward to them.
The roadmap is unconfirmed but the names have been selected! Look forward to the other modpacks at the release of 1.22

Frequently Asked Questions
Cinnamon server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Cinnamon server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Cinnamon without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.11). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Cinnamon server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
