⚔️ Faction Rules: Cobblemon: Elysium

🛡️ I. Faction Creation Rules

1. Faction Name & Theme
   • Must be Pokémon-inspired (e.g., Team Glacium, The Verdant Order, Flare Syndicate).

2. Starter Requirements
   • Must have at least 3 players to form a faction.
   • Faction founder must have at least one Pokémon above level 60.
   • Submit a short lore entry: include your faction's goals, Legendary Mascot Pokémon you wish to obtain, and relationship to other factions (neutral, hostile, allied).
   (The legendary mascot must be a box art or a mythical. The base stat of the Legendary has to be 680. Mythicals are the exception to this rule.)

3. Base Construction
   • Bases must be biome-aligned with your faction

Your base must have:
• A Pokécenter
• Training Grounds for battles (at least one battle arena).
• Three or more residential housing units for members.

🧬 II. Faction Membership & Roles

1. Ranks
   • Leader: Oversees faction goals, diplomacy, and holds the Master Badge.
   • Commander: Leads operations, defends territory, and can challenge other factions.
   • Gym Leader(s): Hosts badge battles within the faction; must specialize in a type. (neutral rank, must be in a faction to open a gym)
   • Trainer: Regular members can rise in rank by winning battles or quests.

2. Recruitment
   • New members must complete a Pokémon Trial (custom challenge, e.g., defeat 3 trainers, catch a rare Pokémon, gather resources). (Optional)
   • Faction must post a Faction Charter listing rules, values, and theme on a shared board in-game or faction-list channel.

⚔️ III. Faction Diplomacy & PvP

1. War Declarations
   • Must be publicly posted 24 hours before combat.
   • At least one Gym Leader or Commander must agree from each side.
   • Allowed to either be a Pokémon battle or a Player Vs Player.
   • If both sides can't agree, flip a coin.

Winner of faction war can claim:
• One “Badge Piece” (collect 4 to disable rival base protections for 1 raid).
• Territory expansion rights or forced neutrality treaty.
• Faction Leaders can be overthrown if the Master badge is taken.

2. Territory
   • Factions can control one biome per 5 active members.
   • Territory expands via exploration, diplomacy, or conquest.

3. Alliances
   • Factions may form alliances or syndicates, pooling resources and Pokémon.
   • Cross-faction raids require at least 1 badge earned from each allied group.

🌿 IV. Progression & Perks

1. Faction Leveling System
   • Level 1: Starter Faction – 3 members, 1 biome. 3 Functional Housing Units
   • Level 2: Established – 5 members, 1 Gym Leader, 5 Functional Housing Units, can claim 1 Legendary Pokémon.
   • Level 3: Elite Faction – 8+ members, 8 Functional Housing Units, Town Hall, the ability to enlist for a seat on the Council of Kosmos
   • Level 4: Champion Tier – 10+ members, 10+ Functional Housing Units, custom 5+ biome, statue of your leader, 3+ members with a full level of a party of 6, ability to use Legendary Pokémon to win a fight. (Has a cooldown of 2 wars after use)

📜 V. Faction Conduct

1. Respect and RP Encouraged
   • Stay in-character when interacting in faction zones.
   • Roleplay battles, training sessions, and faction meetings.
   • No Griefing
   • Faction bases are protected unless war conditions are met.
   • Raids must be honorable (no lava, TNT spam, or stealing items unrelated to war victory conditions).
   • Dual-type teams are allowed for Gym Leaders and higher ranks.
   • Legendary Pokémon must be used sparingly (max 2 per team in official wars or events).
