Corruption's Game
A once peaceful retreat turned into a twisted game of survival.
About this Modpack
These worlds were supposed to be your escape from the stresses of life. Now, the fight to protect them is the most stressful thing you deal with.
Corruption's Game is a survival-oriented modpack focused on fighting for your world's survival. Whether in traditional survival or hardcore, survive as long as possible against powerful creatures of the night, all with one purpose: Take your life as soon as possible. Train your skills quickly to equip stronger weapons and tools, because after 10 nights you can expect to fight your first horde night, when the monsters of the night rise to threaten your life in hundreds. Fend them off to buy yourself more time. Repurpose their equipment as your own, and take out as many as you can night after night.
Take on multiple bosses to try and free your world from the invading dangers. From ghostly villagers to powerful knights, several mods-worth of bosses await you. Hunt them down and take them on for even more powerful loot.
Use branching lines of progression to aid in your survival. Build a base, or travel the world as a nomad. Construct a thriving colony or enslave the villager population to provide what you need. Utilize traditional weaponry, or harness the power of otherworldly magic. Breed and train dogs, or conquer and tame dragons. The choice is yours, and with an upcoming quest system to path out every option, you'll know exactly how to continue forward.

Frequently Asked Questions
Corruption's Game server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong forge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Corruption's Game server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Corruption's Game without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (forge) and same Minecraft version (1.18.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Corruption's Game server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
