Welcome to Create and Farm!

Create and Farm is a vanilla+ modpack focused on the mods Create and Farmer's Delight. It focuses on providing a cozy and easy experience without many changes to vanilla Minecraft mechanics.

Farming

With the Farmer's Delight mod and it's addon Rustic Delight you can start a cosy cottagecore farm in minecraft. You can use new crops such as onions, tomatoes, peppers and more to cook delicious meals in the new cooking pot block. There's also a faster alternative to campfire cooking - the skillet (which also doubles as a nice weapon).

Create Contraptions

Thanks to the Create mod you can automate almost every aspect of Minecraft (of course only if you want to). By utilising appliances powered by rotational force you can break blocks faster, craft items using less resources, obtain previously non-renewable resources and much more.

Decoration

Combining the decorational blocks from Farmer's Delight, Create, Vanilla Minecraft and the amazing mod Another Furniture, allows you to build literally anything. From cottagecore houses to steampunk factories, in Create And Farm everything is possible.

Quality of life

Tired of running out of inventory space, not being able to find that one wood type, or constantly having to check on your animals? Create and Farm adds many QoL features, such as the backpacks from the Inmis mod, the feeding trough or the Nature's Compass. With them you experience will be less frustrating and more relaxed.

How to Set Up a Create & Farm Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for Create & Farm). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "Create & Farm" and click "Install". The fabric loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

Frequently Asked Questions

Create & Farm server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Create & Farm server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to Create & Farm without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Create & Farm server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time.
