About this Modpack

Overview

Create: Countries and Commerce, or CCC for short, is a relatively lightweight modpack geared to simulating countries, war, and an economy in minecraft. It is primarily focused on the mod Create and some of its addons which all work together to allow the creation of factories, war machines, and other contraptions for use in an economy and war.

Another main component of the mod will be the mod Create: Aeronautics which will be added as soon as the mod is transitioned into open beta, this mod will allow the creation of numerous different flying, floating, diving, and driving contraptions which helps push players to create interconnected trade networks and war machines to fight over trade networks, resources, and land.

Purpose of CCC

The aim of CCC is to incentivize players to group into countries or factions and either make deals with, or fight against, other players and countries. This is accomplished through the use of mods that require specialization, such as Farmer's Delight, Create, Create: Big Cannons, and Create: Aeronautics. Some players will focus on certain mods as they each require a certain degree of time to master. This will lead to players specializing in specific mods while still wanting the benefits of other mods that they don't have the time, or resources to focus on. This specialization will lead to players trading with, or stealing from others in order to get access to the benefits of mods that they haven't tried out, or become experienced with. An example of this would be a player who is experienced with the mod Create could exchange a quarry device for good food with a player who has experience with Farmer's Delight. Another scenario that could arise from the same matchup is the player experienced with Create could create some sort of war machine to attack the player experienced with Farmer's Delight and steal their food for themselves.

With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to Create: Countries and Commerce without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
