CSCTech

A light-weight modpack focusing around Create, Industrial Foregoing and the Thermal series with amazing performance and some extra funny mods meant to introduce the people of Circle Strafe Community to their first tech mods using custom comprehensive questlines. Can also be played independently from the server, if you want to start dipping your toes in tech mods using a well-built pack designed for smooth progression and multiplayer play.

Can optionally be played with Distant Horizons, Physics Mod, and Sound Physics Remastered

How to Set Up a CSCTech Server

Order Server

Choose at least 6 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for CSCTech). Based on player count: per 5 players.

Install Modpack in Dashboard

Open the modpack browser in the dashboard, search for "CSCTech" and click "Install". The forge loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 are configured automatically.

Start Server & Play

Start the server – all mods are loaded automatically. Share the server IP with friends and play together!

CSCTech server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong forge loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. How much RAM does a CSCTech server really need?
