About this Modpack

This modpack is mainly designed for a German Twitch community server by the same name, and to bring every player on it a wild and immersive mix between two of the most addictive things there are! Minecraft and Pokémon!

Please note that this does not include most server side mods and data packs. So, using this "as is", you would miss out on a lot of the full experience when playing this on a single-player world or a different server.

However, this modpack includes a custom datapack for more options in botany pots and compatibility to plants from cobblemon.
A customized version of cobbreeding - with added support to breed cobblemon sizes and additional information in egg tooltips for egg filtering. Such as how many IVs are perfect, the size, or if it is shiny.
And a reduced version of CCC + MAL Ressourcepack, to avoid conflicts with Megashowdown

What are the main points you can expect from this modpack?
Expect a lot of cobblemon content, including trainer battle based level progression and all forms of gimmicks.
A ton of the usual optimization and beautification mods.
Some mods for storage management - like refined storage or sophisticated storage.
As well ways to make adventuring a bit more enjoyable, trough Waystones and Xaero's maps!

Frequently Asked Questions

Cult of Cobblemon server crashes or won't start – what to do?

Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.

How much RAM does a Cult of Cobblemon server really need?

Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).

Can I add custom mods to Cult of Cobblemon without conflicts?

Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.

Cult of Cobblemon server lagging – performance tips

1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
