About this Modpack
Explorer's Paradise is a 1.20.1 modpack filled with tons of mods that has mainly one goal : make exploration fun again.
This Modpacks aims to make minecraft feel new again, expending on tons of points and even adding some nostalgic mods (like twilight forest) to the modpack.
I hope you'll love it as much as i enjoyed the process of making it :)
It adds tons of different mods that each adds onto the whole experience and adds stuff where minecraft's vanilla game might fell short, this includes :
- New Dimensions :

- New Biomes :

- New Structures :

- And Much More...

PS : Do take note that mods like Deeper and Darker as well as ModernFix are present but disabled in the modpack because of crashing issues (while loading chunk with Deeper and darker and the whole end dimension with ModernFix).
While we do advice to keep them disabled for a smoother experience you have still the free will to enable them back if wanted but do take note that it could make the whole modpack unstable :)
PPS : Feel free to join the discord if there is any issues with the Modpack (Rendering Issues, Crashes, Error Messages, Game Not Launching, Specific mods crashing the game...) It helps us greatly improve the work we do and provide the best for you all !

Frequently Asked Questions
Explorer's Paradise server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Explorer's Paradise server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to Explorer's Paradise without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.20.1). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Explorer's Paradise server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
