About this Modpack
Forging A Journey aims to turn Minecraft into a semi-realistic immersive RPG with an emphasis on realistic smelting and progression. It does this through adding tougher early game and late game prosseses in order to craft stronger gear. Most other elements of Minecraft have been upgraded as well, such as better world generation, weather systems and by adding survival elements such as thirst and tempereture. One of the most interesting features of this modpack has to offer is the combat system, which uses a camera lock and Better Combat to create a truly unique experience.
To 'complete' this modpack, there are some goals to strive for:
- Easy: Getting a full set of diamond armour
This is made challanging by the realistic forging mod and is good for a simpler playthrough. - Medium: Beating the Enderdragon
Straightforward and simple, the Ender Dragon is a ferocious foe with True Ending - Hard: Beating the Wither.
The complete revamp of the wither thanks to Wither: Reincarnated in combination with Better Combat makes the wither the true demon it was meant to be.
You can, of course, simply play as you please and don't have to follow any of the listed objectives here. Now go have fun and explore this new world!
