FrameWalk Mobile
a modpack that makes your old android phone actually play minecraft java edition, made by ScrewedSause on yt and modrinth
About this Modpack
FrameWalk Mobile 🚀📱
Minecraft Java on Android, actually playable.
Let's be real—trying to run Java Edition on a phone usually feels like watching a slideshow. FrameWalk Mobile is a specialized Fabric 1.21.11 modpack built to change that. Whether you’re on PojavLauncher or MojoLauncher, this pack is gutted and rebuilt to squeeze every possible frame out of budget ARM chips like the Helio P35 (Samsung A03s) in which if you try to open the normal 1.21.11 version on it... itll just give you a black screen and crash.
Review from a friend with a budget phone
Anonymous~ "It was actually surprising how much this improved my performance, at First it wasn't that much of an improvement but when i adjusted settings i suddenly got over 300fps and an average of about 100fps which is incredible for my device which is an oppo a98 which has a 120hz display so it was stable to an extent, i used it using mojolauncher and also adjusted some settings inside mojolauncher itself (to disable the V-Sync thats forced by the launcher). At last i really enjoyed this Modpack and i recommend it for every mobile-java player."

⚠️ START HERE: Installation Guide (PojavLauncher Users)
If you are using MojoLauncher, you can just download/update directly in the app. If you're on Pojav, follow these steps to avoid a crash-loop:
Clean Slate: Open Pojav, run 1.21.11 vanilla once, and quit at the main menu.
Fabric Time: Run the 1.21.11 Fabric Installer .jar using the "Install a .jar" button in Pojav.
The Mod Dump: Use a file manager (turn on "Show Hidden Files") and move the mods from this pack into:
Android > data > net.kdt.pojavlaunch > files > .minecraft > mods.
The Setup:
Renderer: Set to Zink (use HolyGL if Zink acts weird).
Resolution Scaler: Start at 50-60%. (If you want to go to 25% for max speed, go for it—I'm not gonna judge you).
Memory: Set this to 1200MB - 1500MB. DO NOT give it all your RAM or Android will kill the app and you'll crash.
💻 The "Zero Stutter" JVM Arguments
Standard Java isn't built for phones with 3GB of RAM. To stop those annoying "hiccups" when you break blocks or load chunks, go to Settings > Java Tweaks > JVM Arguments, clear the box, and paste this:
-XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=8M -XX:G1ReservePercent=15 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=15 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1
That makes perfect sense! If you only want to replace that bottom half so you don't mess up the formatting of your installation guide and reviews at the top, you can just highlight the old changelog and paste this right over it.
Here is just that specific section, formatted exactly the way you had it:
FrameWalk Mobile — The "Global Potato" Update (26.1.x)
We survived the jump to the new Minecraft engine! This update is a "scorched earth" approach to optimization (you are going to have to get used to my english level of typing). We stress-tested this on actual Android hardware locked at 1.1GB of RAM, and it bolted firmly to 60 FPS.
➕ The New Gear
Crash Assistant: Budget phones crash. Now, instead of throwing you to the home screen, the game will actually tell you exactly why it crashed so you can adjust your RAM limits.
FPS Reducer: Battery and thermal control. Your phone's CPU now gets micro-breaks when you are in menus to cool down, stopping thermal throttling.
Packet Fixer & Fast IP Ping: Brings server-grade network stability to mobile. If you are playing on spotty mobile data, this stops you from rubber-banding and timing out.
Better Block Entities: Swapped in to keep chests and complex blocks optimized and low-poly on the new engine.
C2ME & NoisiumForked: Rebuilt the multi-threaded terrain generation stack. Sprinting into new chunks will not melt your CPU anymore.
Particle Visor: A highly aggressive new particle culling replacement to stop the game from rendering hidden potion and torch effects.
➖ The "Fat" we cut
Removed: Methane, More Culling, ThreadTweak, Exordium, MemoryLeakFix, FastAnim, and Auto Render Distance. (These haven't caught up to 26.1 or aren't needed with the new Vulkan rendering APIs).
Ksyxis: Permanently removed. With the new 26.x rendering pipelines, it is officially obsolete.
Iris: Removed. Shaders are cool, but not on a budget phone trying to hit a stable 60 FPS.
🎮 In-Game Settings for the Win
Note: The pack now ships with a pre-configured options.txt file so you don't crash on your first boot!

Extreme / Potato Mode (For 3GB-4GB RAM limits):

Frequently Asked Questions
FrameWalk Mobile server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 8 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a FrameWalk Mobile server really need?
Minimum 6 GB, recommended 8 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €12/month).
Can I add custom mods to FrameWalk Mobile without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (26.1.2). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
FrameWalk Mobile server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 8 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
