About this Modpack
A small modpack containing completely client-sided mods targeting optimization and QoL tweaks.
Optimization
Simply Optimized
- Modpack solely to boost FPS and memory usage
QoL Tweaks
Mini HUD
- Allows you a small, customizable, toggleable debug (F3) menu that is much less invasive than the normal debug menu. I use it to always show my coordinates but not the rest of the debug menu.
Litematica
- Technical mod that allows you to use a stick to quickly create schematics of builds to later place as a shadow of blocks in any location. The schematic is saved as a file on your computer so you can use across worlds and download/upload schematics which is helpful for larger builds. A schematic will also tell you the number of materials needed to complete the schematic.
Distant Horizons
- Render chunks that are past the set render distance if a chunk in the set mod distance has been loaded previously, very useful for Aternos servers.
BetterF3
- Replaces the debug menu with a customizable and more readable menu. The ability to remove modules you don't want to see and color coding modules is super nice.
Mod Menu
- Adds a menu to view and edit mod options in the Minecraft's pause menu.
Other
If Low Performance Then Lower Distant Horizons Mod Distance In Mod Menu
The base mod distance is set to be pretty high on default, I run on 32 chunks mod distance and cap my FPS at 120 and with the mod distance at 32 I never drop below 120 FPS

Frequently Asked Questions
Guantarious's Tweaks server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Guantarious's Tweaks server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 8 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Guantarious's Tweaks without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.4). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Guantarious's Tweaks server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
