About this Modpack
🌅 Helios — Ultra‑Light Performance Modpack for Minecraft 1.21.8
Helios is a next‑generation performance modpack built for one purpose:
make Minecraft 1.21.8 run faster than ever on any device — PC, laptop, or even mobile.

Unlike outdated renderer‑overhauling solutions such as Sodium, Helios focuses on modern, modular optimizations that boost FPS, reduce stutter, improve chunk loading, and cut memory usage — all without breaking compatibility or locking out mobile players.
Helios is designed, tested, and fine‑tuned directly on mobile hardware, ensuring maximum stability and zero artificial restrictions.
⚡ Key Features
- Extreme FPS Boost — Powered by modern optimizers like Lithium, VMP, C2ME, and FerriteCore.
- Mobile‑Friendly by Design — No renderer rewrites, no forced crashes, no platform locks.
- Ultra‑Lightweight — Only essential libraries and performance mods. No bloat, no visuals changed.
- Fast Chunk Loading — Multithreaded world generation and smoother world travel.
- GPU‑Level Enhancements — With GpuMod and GpuTape for improved rendering efficiency.
- Instant Resource Pack Loading — Thanks to QuickPack.
- Full Vanilla Compatibility — Works on any server, including pure vanilla.
📱 Why Helios Beats Traditional Performance Packs
Most “performance” modpacks rely on outdated renderer replacements that:
- break mobile compatibility,
- cause crashes,
- reduce mod compatibility,
- and introduce unnecessary compromises.
Helios avoids all of that.
By using modern, actively maintained optimizers, it delivers:
- higher FPS,
- smoother frame pacing,
- lower RAM usage,
- and full cross‑device support.
Even low‑end phones can feel the difference immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Helios server crashes or won't start – what to do?
Most common causes: insufficient RAM or wrong fabric loader. Check latest.log for "OutOfMemoryError" → increase RAM to at least 6 GB. For "Mixin" or "ClassNotFoundException" errors: modpack version and loader don't match. With Mado Hosting, loader and Minecraft version are auto-configured on modpack install – preventing most startup issues.
How much RAM does a Helios server really need?
Minimum 4 GB, recommended 6 GB for stable performance. per 5 players. Important: Minecraft modpacks need more RAM than vanilla – plan extra per additional player. With Mado Hosting, you can scale RAM up live at any time without data loss (from €8/month).
Can I add custom mods to Helios without conflicts?
Yes, but check compatibility: only use mods for the same loader (fabric) and same Minecraft version (1.21.11). Common issues: ID conflicts with recipe mods and incompatible coremod versions. The Mado dashboard mod browser only shows compatible mods and warns about known conflicts.
Helios server lagging – performance tips
1) Increase RAM to 6 GB+. 2) Reduce server view-distance to 8 (server.properties). 3) Pre-generate chunks with the "Chunky" plugin. 4) Use /spark profiler to check which mods consume the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, all servers run on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores – eliminating hardware as a bottleneck.
